Description: Little Scholars School Celebrates "Unity in Effort, Victory in Sight" Annual Athletic Meet 2024 Play with dedication, win with honor. Sports lay the foundation for a bright and robust future for any nation. With this philosophy, Little Scholars School celebrated its Sports Day on Tuesday, 3rd December. The event commenced with the welcome and inaugural speech by the chief guest. The sports captain, Yashasvi Latwal, highlighted the importance of sports in his welcome speech and motivated everyone. The Sports Day was officially inaugurated by sports captains Neeraj Negi and Yashasvi Latwal by lighting the torch, with participants who were champions in state, national, and international sports. The occasion was graced by the chief guest, Brigadier Lakshmikant Madarevar, Mrs. Mukta Singh, Mr. Anuj Bhatia, Mr. R.S. Tiwari, Mrs. Shweta Masival, founder Mrs. Ritu Bhalla, Colonel Rohit Bhalla, Mr. Pankaj Bhalla, the Principal Mrs. Shikha Gautam, and the Vice Principal Mrs. Ruma Aggarwal. The celebration began with the release of colorful balloons and doves into the sky, symbolizing peace and freedom. The Principal presented the school's annual report, marking the official start of the program. The four school houses presented a march-past, saluting the chief guest, with Yamuna House securing the first position, Krishna House the second, and Ganga House the third. The event progressed with captivating activities by the young children, including the "Half Ring Drill," "Treasure Hunt," and "Tiny Hoopla," which mesmerized the audience. Following this, students from classes three, four, and five demonstrated their creativity and coordination through the "Rhythmic Spectra" drill. The 100-meter races for junior and senior categories were the most thrilling, showcasing the students' speed and endurance. A flat race for students from classes three to five was also conducted, where all participants enthusiastically displayed their excellent sportsmanship. The mixed relay race was a splendid example of teamwork and sports spirit. The "Nari Shakti" drill by the girls conveyed a message of women empowerment, reflecting the school's culture and values. The senior boys impressed the audience with their vigorous "Vigorous Electra" and "Pyramid" performances. All the winning participants were awarded gold, silver, and bronze medals. Brigadier Lakshmikant Madarevar, in his inspiring address, encouraged students to participate in sports and maintain discipline. He emphasized that sports not only strengthen us physically but also mentally. Sports Championship was bagged by- Karan Negi in Junior Boys Neeraj Negi in Senior Boys Darshika Chauhan in Junior Girls and Kripa Dangwal in Senior Girls Overall House Trophy was won by Yamuna House. The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Neeraj Negi, followed by the national anthem. Principal Shikha Gautam expressed gratitude to all guests and parents and appreciated the hard work of students and teachers in making the event a grand success. The event was not just a display of students' talents but also a memorable occasion that underscored the importance of discipline, teamwork, and sportsmanship.
