The event commenced with the moderators Shreyasi Tiwari and Shrusti Agarwal welcoming the delegates, faculty members, the guests, and the chief guest - Mr. #Deep_Nagpal who is an ambitious entrepreneur as well as a motivational speaker who gave a speech on Tedx Talk. 🎤
The atmosphere was infused with reverence as the Lamp Lighting was done by founding director Ms. Ritu Bhalla, Col. Rohit Bhalla, Mr. Pankaj Bhalla, Principal-Ms. Shikha Gautam Vice Principal-Ms. Ruma Agarwal and guest of the day Mr. Deep Nagpal. 💡
The invocation of Goddess Saraswati, the epitome of knowledge and wisdom, resonated through the venue, reminding everyone of the importance of learning and enlightenment. 🙏
Mementos were presented to the esteemed guests. A captivating opening choir performance followed, showcasing the diversity and harmony among nations, symbolizing the shared aspirations for peace and cooperation. 🎶
Speech by the principal echoed the sentiments of unity and mutual respect. Afterwards, the audience was treated to a mesmerizing fusion dance performance, blending traditional and contemporary styles, reflecting the rich cultural mosaic of the global community. 💃🕺
A rocking performance by the band took place. 🎸
The event concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks, by *Ms. Anju Singal*- MUN Coordinator, followed by *Mr. Prashant Nagpal*- Director of EDXcursion expressing gratitude to all delegates, advisors, volunteers, and staff for their contributions. 🙌
As delegates embarked on their MUN journey, they carried with them the spirit of diplomacy, understanding, and cooperation fostered during the memorable opening ceremony. 🌟
Today was the first day of the LSMUN 2024. The upcoming two days will be filled with debates and exploration. There will be indeed significant committees and agendas, namely UNSC, Super-Hero Conclave, UNODC, UN Women, G77, AIPPM, IPL, ECOSOC, Media House. Delegates will indulge in three days of insightful discussions and exclusive debates. 🗣️
