Description:
Holi is one of the major festivals of India and is the most vibrant of all. The joys of Holi know no bound. The festival is filled with so much fun and frolic that the very mention of the word ‘Holi’ draws smiles and enthusiasm amongst the people. Holi is about bringing people together, and all differences such as class, gender, and race are forgotten. The festival signifies the victory of good over evil, the arrival of spring, a season of joy and hopes, and the end of the winter season. The tiny tots of the Pre Primary Wing at Little Scholars celebrate this festival with a lot of zeal too. Here’s how we have a colourful time with our kids at our Holi Celebrations.
First, we educate our kids about the festival and its significance. After that, the celebrations start with a lot of Fun Activities. The tiny tots had a HERBAL COLOUR MAKING ACTIVITY in the Co-Scholastic period. On 22nd March 2024, the kids had a HOLI MILAN SAMAROH in which kids enjoyed playing Holi with hand-made herbal colours & flowers. The delicious sweet 'Gujiya' added flavor to the fun. The tiny tots sang & danced to the beat of Holi songs. The energy and enthusiasm of the children added to the festive atmosphere. Finally, the event concluded with phoolon ki holi in which the staff members participated along with School Director Mrs. Ritu Bhalla and Principal Mrs. Shikha Gautam. The Holi Milan Samaroh at LS was a wonderful opportunity for the students and teachers to come together and celebrate this joyful festival of colors, while also promoting cultural harmony and togetherness. 🌼👩🏫🤝💕
