🪴🪴"Baisakhi is a time to celebrate the bountiful harvest, the rich cultural heritage, and the spirit of community."🪴🪴It is a vibrant and colorful festival that marks the beginning of the Sikh New Year and the harvest season.
The Pre Primary Wing of Little Scholars celebrated this joyous occasion with our little ones in a fun and educational way.Baisakhi special Craft activties were conducted for the tinytots in the Co Scholastic period.Our teachers explained the significance of Baisakhi and its importance in Sikh culture to the tinytots in the Co Scholastic period. They also talked about the harvest season and how farmers in Punjab and other parts of India celebrate this time of year.
The tinytots of class 2A conducted a special assembly on BAISAKHI.The pre primary assembly area buzzed with excitement as students celebrated Baisakhi. The morning assembly began with a speech by a student, a hindi poem by another student followed by a vibrant dance performance by Class 2A children. The speech enlightened everyone about the significance of Baisakhi as a harvest festival🪴 and the formation of the Khalsa Panth. The Class 2A students stole the show with their energetic Bhangra and Gidda💃💃 steps. The assembly concluded on a high note, celebrating the spirit of Baisakhi🍀🍀.
The children learned about a new culture through the fun filled activities.
